Dear Residents,

We love our village . . .and how often we hear others say ‘Askerswell is so warm and welcoming, and so active’? A big part of that activity is the variety of events held throughout the year. Your Village Events Group will be meeting shortly to plan an exciting mix of events for 2025.                                                

This is where we need YOUR HELP PLEASE – your chance to shape next year’s programme!

Please take a moment to consider and respond to the following questions.

1)Which events in 2023/24 have you most enjoyed?  Coffee & sales morning/quizzes/BBQ/games/talks etc

2)How often should we hold events?  Monthly / bi-monthly etc

3)Do you have ideas for future events?

4)Do you prefer daytime/evening, weekday/weekend events?

5)Would you be prepared to add your name to a master list of volunteers to be called upon from time to time? If so, what would you prefer to help with?  Setting up Hall/Outdoors – kitchen/serving/clearing – cooking – baking – bar – manning stall/raffle- other?

6)Would you like to join VEG?
