We have reached the final week! It’s on Saturday!!! I know it conflicts with Strictly (Blackpool) – but that’s what iPlayer is for, right? Thank you again to those of you that have bought tickets – your Saturday show will commence after you have eaten… doors will open at 7.30PM – so please don’t arrive too early as we don’t want you to see the last minute panic….

For those of you that either didn’t get tickets or couldn’t make the Saturday, the Friday show is filling up…. this will begin at “around” 8.00PM – so please arrive just before then and get settled in. As mentioned before, there won’t be a charge, but a donation will be good, and please buy lots of drinks!

New Website

Thanks to our new Webmaster, Nick Evans, the new Askerswell website will be going live imminently!!! Please look out for it and use it frequently – Nick hopes to make it even more of a useful place to find local stuff – future Askerswell Posts will probably just give you a link to the message  – but on the website, rather than sending all of the content to your ‘phone or PC – that way we don’t fill your hard-drives with our insane ramblings. Hurrah!

Film Club

And on the subject of links – we promised you more news of the film club – there were enough responses to our initial teaser to move forward (thank you) so to all of you that have already expressed interest, and anyone that hasn’t yet  – PLEASE CLICK ON THIS LINK!!  

There is a very short questionnaire to fill out – I just did it and it took about two minutes, it is very straightforward – and will give Nick a much clearer idea of how to proceed… and we hope to be able to screen the first film in the new year – double Hurrah with extra Popcorn!!

I have just been informed that we have had TWO tickets for the Saturday performance returned, due to an unfortunate scheduling clash… so if anyone wants to come to see Gulliver! on Saturday that hasn’t already got a ticket.. you may be lucky.
